Thoroughly enjoyed this colourful project, it was definitely marked a stepping stone in life-not only with experimenting such a country that is in contrast to most/many western counties, but also in the development of stronger independence. It does take time to adjust to the culture shock but being in a group with other like mind people who I have met here have become close friends (but in some constant I have known them for a month!) such as we are planning on going travelling next year together. I took part health project. It was well organized. I would definitely recommend this to other people out there.

I had wonderful experience in Nepal. I was properly picked up at the airport and was taken in the hostel. The coordinator was a fantastic host very accommodating no matter what my needs. Any issues I had with my project location, my health and comfort, he had taken care of. The project we stayed in lalitpur was an orphanage a great success. I thoroughly enjoyed my stayed here. I would 100% recommend Volunteering Activity to all.

While in the US, Volunteering Activity was very helpful. Overall my volunteer experience has been one I shall never forget. The project taking place here in Nepal are well structured and excellently run. The two orphanages I have visited were not only clean out the children, well managed and taken care of. Initially I stayed in one of the rural Kathmandu which was great as I felt so close to the kids seeing them in the morning and evening. Later I moved to the city one due to my friends which was sad however staying with Mr. Shrestha (coordinator) and his family was a great, very hospital, warm and friendly.

It was nice to volunteer in monastery teaching and school projects in Nepal simultaneously. Kids were very nice and well behaved in both the projects. I enjoyed talking with them. Host family was very nice. I had a very good and comfortable stay. I recommend this program to others.

Good transition between home and project, especially Hindi lesson were good and relevant. Food and accommodation were splendid. All in all excellent program and I also enjoyed sightseeing Kathmandu, Pokhara and Tibet tour organized by our coordinator. It was also a good opportunity to learn more about culture and language. I will recommend to all.

First of all I thank you all for such a wonderful program. I really enjoyed working at the school teaching especially with the small children. I have been glad to do trekking with the group. The program was a good mix of volunteering, education and travelling. We saw a lot of beautiful sights and I have gotten stronger by travelling on my own. Mr. Shrestha has been a great help when we have been in trouble and we have stayed at his house when we came for travelling. I would ask my friends to join this program.

The experiences I had in Nepal were amazing. I met new and good friends, learned a lot about country and a lot about myself mostly. Nepal showed me very happy moments. I really like the structure of the program (Nepali orientation, volunteering and touring). I think 3 weeks volunteering is not enough. Volunteering at orphanage was very well kept. The kids were unbelievably wonderful. The kids made it so worth it. I would like to recommend to others.
